About This Location

The original 1871 Grand Central Depot was the hub of George Russell's railroad empire. Partly inspired by Cornelius Vanderbilt who built it. Russell's railroad battles form the financial backbone of the show.

Grand Central Terminal (1913) — one of the world's great train stations and a beloved NYC landmark — stands on the same site and is fully operational.

Exact historical site. Original 1871 Depot replaced by Grand Central Terminal in 1913.
