The production notice lists the following blocks under a temporary parking hold: both sides of E 26th & E 28th Street; north side of E 27th Street between 5th Ave and Park Ave South; north side of Park Ave South between E 26th & E 29th Street; both sides of E 26th Street between Madison Ave and Park Ave South; south side of 5th Ave between E 26th & E 27th Street; west side of Madison Ave between E 26th & E 27th Street (half block).

What makes this sighting special is the address. Madison Square is not a stand-in for the show's world — it is the show's world. The blocks under the parking hold contain or border a remarkable share of this map's historic pins: Delmonico's Madison Square location at 26th and Fifth, the Brunswick Hotel's corner at 26th, the Hoffman House site on Broadway, the park where the Statue of Liberty's torch stood, and the Prince George Ballroom on 27th where fans separately reported interior filming. When the production holds these particular streets, it is returning to the literal geography of the 1880s social season — even though almost nothing above street level survives from that era, meaning every carriage, costume, and facade the cameras need must be brought in and dressed on the day.
