HBO filmed The Gilded Age Season 4 across New York through spring
2026 — in Manhattan, Harlem, Queens and Staten Island. Production locations
are not announced, so every sighting below was found and reported by
viewers on r/thegildedage: parking notices, dressed sets, period
props and character trailers spotted in the street. Each one is credited to
the person who found it and links back to their original post.
E 26th–28th St between 5th Ave & Park Ave South, NoMad85% confidence
An official HBO production parking notice went up on 18 March 2026,
covering several blocks around Madison Square for filming five days later on
23 March — the earliest Season 4 sighting on this map.
10 St. Nicholas Place, Hamilton Heights35% confidence
In March 2026 a fan flagged the landmark 1888 Bailey mansion as a
possible Season 4 exterior, spotted in person rather than photographed. HBO
hasn't confirmed it, but the block sits close to the corroborated Sugar Hill
filming nearby, and intact 1880s mansion facades are scarce anywhere else
in Manhattan.
A fan identified the Beaux-Arts ballroom at 15 E 27th St as a possible
Season 4 interior in March 2026. HBO hasn't confirmed it and nobody has photographed
filming there, but the venue's intact period ballroom and its spot inside the show's
Madison Square cluster make it a plausible pick.
A fan photographed character trailer #9 at this NoMad corner on
23 March 2026, its door plate reading Oscar van Rhijn, with neighboring trailers
marked for Kate and Salli. It's one of the few Season 4 sightings that names a
specific character rather than just a filming site.
Two Reddit users independently reported Season 4 filming in Sugar
Hill — one photographing the production, the other describing a week-long
shoot centered on a townhouse on Convent Avenue. That overlap with the
neighboring Convent Avenue sighting makes this one of the map's
better-corroborated leads.
Near 80th St & Cooper Ave, Glendale, Queens30% confidence
A Queens resident reported Season 4 crews returning to the same
residential block near Atlas Park on repeated Thursdays and Fridays over
several weeks in early 2026. The area's early-1900s brick rowhouses fit the
production's pattern of scouting outer-borough streets that read as period
with little extra dressing.
A fan watched crew unload furniture labeled "Peggy NY house" into a
Convent Avenue brownstone in March 2026 — the clearest identification on this
map of which character's home a location represents. A second sighting two
blocks away in April corroborated the same stretch of Hamilton Heights as an
active Season 4 set.
An official three-day parking notice for production "TGA" went up
outside 55 Water Street in mid-May 2026, one of two downtown permits that
surfaced the same weekend. Photographed by a passerby, it places filming
squarely in the Financial District's surviving 19th-century waterfront blocks.
A visitor spotted a "TGA" production sign posted at Snug Harbor
Cultural Center & Botanical Garden — the first Staten Island sighting reported
for Season 4. Snug Harbor's row of Greek Revival dormitories, raised between the
1830s and 1880s, gives the production a self-contained campus of period
architecture.
South William St, Mill St & Stone Street, FiDi95% confidence
A fan photographed several blocks of Financial District streets
dressed for Season 4 — period flags, reproduction theater bills and patent-medicine
posters papered across South William, Mill and Stone Streets, with crew and
equipment visibly in place. The scale of the dressing suggests a major street
scene rather than a quick pickup shot.
Whitehall St near the Staten Island Ferry Terminal, FiDi88% confidence
A commuter spotted a "No Parking — Film Shoot" notice for "TGA"
posted near the Whitehall St–South Ferry subway stop in mid-May 2026, the same
weekend a matching permit appeared at 55 Water Street a few blocks north — together
pointing to a coordinated multi-day shoot along the historic ferry district.
